BETH DIAMOND (DRUMS)

Beth's first band (1994) was in a Greensboro, NC band with The Ladies Auxiliary. They competed in the Piedmont Blues Challenge (1995) and took third place.  After leaving Greensboro, she played in Blues After Dark (Cincinnati, OH) and ran the Northern Kentucky blues jam at Lucille's (Latonia, KY).  She has been with the Groove Syndicate since 1995; has toured England twice, played in Italy, Switzerland, and Canada; along with many, many Blues Fests, including The Chicago Blues Fest.     

MARK WAGNER (BASS)

Mark brings 35 of years playing blues and jazz/fusion bass in Chicago and Louisville area blues bars, music festivals,  honky-tonks,  and anywhere else blues can be found. He has also played with various local and regional acts; Foree Wells, Richard "Kush" Griffith, Smoketown Red, Dennis Ervin, Sam "Shake" Anderson, The Blues Syndicate, Rogue Gallery, and others.  

JON PLEASANT (KEYBOARDS)

Nashville, TN native; Jon (Reese) is one of the original (Kentucky - Groove Syndicate) members (1996-2001). He was an integral part in our development  sound, and instrumental on the very first CD; ANGEL CHILD. Also, he had a guest appearance on SOMEWHERE SOMEHOW (1999). He is also instrumental on our latest record FRIENDS & FAMILY. Jon has played with numerous top regional acts; Funk Dat, the very successful band Signal, and he had a 9 month stint with national act James Peterson (deceased).  He also fronted his own band JP & The Activators.  Jon brings an arsenal of skills to the band, including killer keyboard skills and soulful vocals.

RAY (WILLIE RAY) WARFIELD  (VOCALS / TENOR SAX)

Hailing from Nashville, TN., Ray (Willie- Ray) is past member (of The Groove Syndicate 1998 - 2005 and he played on FRIENDS & FAMILY - 2017 (writing the horn parts for the record). He was an integral part of our live recording (LIVE ALIVE) at Stevie Ray's Blues Bar (Louisville, KY New Year's Eve 2001). He also played BLUES TO BOP (Lugano, Switzerland 2004) with us.

 Along with his awesome tenor sax playing, he also brings; super smooth, soulful vocals. We're excited to have Ray back, as a part of this stellar lineup!
